CALL FOR ARTISTS - GROUP ART EXHIBITION
Exhibition Notice - Nº 01/2024/AIP
Da Vinci's Lion meets Metropolis' Maria, and together they take part in the Nooscope! Yes, this is our new project, more than a title, it's a desire to get people thinking about AI. We decided to imagine our first robot and ended up with Da Vinci in 2022. It's only natural that the lion (the first 'robot' capable of moving around on its own) invented by Da Vinci should meet up with the film Metropolis and its golden robot in an absurd society. So many films, so many encounters, so many books, so many reflections on this future that is now almost touching the hand of God, as in Michelangelo's painting. Is free will preventing this encounter? Let's enter the debate? Nooscope, black box or Pandora's box? Come and take part in this manifesto, HOMO MACHINA data, formatted databases, metadata, paradigm creation... Here's a quote from Fritz Lang's film Metropolis (1927): There can be no understanding between the hands and the brain, unless the heart plays the role of the moderator (Maria). We look forward to seeing you! We remain at your disposal for any information you may require.
Artists using collage or illustration as a medium are invited to apply.
